This is how long you have to return your unwanted gifts (Picture: PA)

You probably got something you didn’t want this Christmas.

Instead of sulking about it why don’t you get up and head back to the store it was bought from.

Take a look at our list below to see how much time you have to return the items.

(Obviously there are some things you won’t be allowed to take back such as perishable and personalised goods, and unsealed software).

The biggest online retailer has an extended Christmas return policy.

Items dispatched from November 1 to December 31, 2015, can be returned before 31 January 2016.

Some of the weirdest New Year traditions from around the world

| blog, L&B World, World | December 31, 2015

New Year’s Eve can be a stressful time.

You’ve got to make sure your glass of full of Champagne sparkling wine, be in a position where you can see Big Ben on TV, all while subtly trying to catch the eye of the person you want to snog when the clock strikes 12.

Well spare a though for our friends around the world, some of whom have much weirder NYE traditions.

In Romania…

Romanians try to heal their ill farmyard animals by whispering into their ears.

If they are successful it spells good fortune for the coming year (also, they apparently discover a magical ability they have).

Catholic priest suspended after giving sermon on a hoverboard

| blog, L&B World, News, Youtube | December 30, 2015

He might look as though he is moving around like some kind of Holy Spirit, but this priest is actually on a hoverboard. And now he’s in trouble for it.

The priest was said to have greeted the congregation and sang a Christmas song before delivering his sermon still wheeling around on the device, but the Catholic Church – known for its progressive forward thinking (not!) – didn’t like it.

He’s been suspended from his job at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal in Biñan Parish, Philippines, where he gave the sermon on Christmas Eve.

Christmas with the family can be a hard time.

How are you suppose to impress your parents that you are successful when you’ve got very little to show for yourself?

It’s simple, just give them no choice but to love you – like this guy did.

Rather than the standard Christmas presents he made all his family members T-shirts emblazoned with his face and a loving slogan.

By the looks of his family, everyone except his brother is loving the T-shirts.

We can’t imagine they will be wearing them past December the 31st though…

Here is the Christmas message from Tim Peake and the ISS crew

| blog, International Space Station, L&B World, World | December 25, 2015

They might be 400km above the Earth, but even the astronauts on the International Space Station have some Christmas cheer.

Tim Peake, the first British astronaut to be part of the ISS crew, joined his fellow crew members Yuri Malenchenko and Tim Kopra to send a message down to earth a few days ago.

Tim spoke about how Christmas is a time for family, and lamented the fact that he couldn’t be with his this year (however we’re sure he left some presents behind for them).

Of course the spacemen couldn’t pass up an opportunity to show just how fun living in zero-gravity can be and signed off the video by doing an effortless backflip.

Admit it, you’re jealous.

At least Tim actually sent this message to the right place – he managed to misdial when trial to call Earth earlier today.

This place possibly got the greatest Christmas Day weather ever

OK, so December hasn’t exactly been a ‘winter wonderland’ so far, but there is one place that looks suitably festive…

… and it isn’t in the UK.

While it might not have snow, the mist sweeping over the beautiful hills of Weinviertel in Austria creates a fairly Dickensian Christmas scene.

The area is famous for wine-making, however by the looks of things it’s main export should be creepy film locations.

Of course people in London will recognise these scene, but instead of mist it’s pollution,… Read the full story

The #WhatSantaWontGetMeForXmas hashtag is pretty bitter

Times are hard (Picture: Getty/Metro)

It’s Christmas, and therefore the time of year to be ungrateful for all the things that sadly won’t fit into Father Christmas’ sack (gigiddy).

Rather than grumbling about the terrible gifts we receive over Christmas dinner, we now have Twitter, and people have been using the #WhatSantaWontGetMeForXmas to show everyone just how ‘first world’ their problems really are.

(We assume it’s all a bit tongue-in-cheek though)

Once again the British people have crowded around the TV to listen to The Queen’s speech.

This year Her Royal Highness not only regaled the interesting events throughout Britain and the world in 2015, but also imparted some knowledge on how Britain adopted the Christmas tree (and it turns out we have her grandparents to thank for it – in part).

Here’s The Queen’s… Read the full story
